Melisa graduated from Roger Williams University with a Masters in Forensic Mental Health Counseling. She has worked with at risk youth, providing them with in home therapy as they have been placed in foster care, are working towards reunification, or have reunified with their family. Her professional focus has been helping clients of all ages with trauma, depression, anxiety, and oppositional behaviors. Melisa takes a client-centered approach, using evidence-based modalities to ensure interventions are tailored and effective for each individual.
Melisa is fluent in both Spanish and English. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods, traveling, reading, attending concerts, and spending time with her family and friends.
