Melanie utilizes tools from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness, as she supports clients on their path to healing and self-discovery.
Melanie has a Masters of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and is formally trained in several therapeutic approaches, including both ERP and EMDR therapy.
