Mayra Martinez, LCSW
Therapist
Mayra believes that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and healing, where individuals can uncover their inner strength and achieve lasting change. She is fully licensed with more than a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families facing life’s challenges; and she works with both English- and Spanish-speaking clients.
Mayra integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities into her practice, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and the Gottman Method, tailoring each session to meet her clients’ unique needs and goals. Her passion lies in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and work towards meaningful growth.
Outside of the office, Mayra teaches about clinical practice at the University of Utah to help train future therapists on best practices.
